Batch conversion
Add all files you want, select the output format and click Start – the program takes care of the rest.
Playback your audio tracks at the touch of a button. Great for musicians, bands, traveling singers, live audio engineers and even radio and television production work. Key features: - Instantly play back audio files with the press of a button - Playback stops after the track is finished, waiting on your next cue. Some of the cue types available:. Single (mono or stereo) audio file. A list of audio files to play sequentially for pre-show, intermission, etc. Timed pauses. Control cues to act upon other cues. Serial strings to trigger an external device. MIDI sequence (music) playback. MIDI command to control external equipment. MIDI Mute for audio muting on external mixer Cues can be linked in various ways. Macs Cue is (still!) just $20. Unregistered versions are fully functional except that a short bit of silence is inserted every 15 seconds or so. This should allow you to evaluate the program during sound design and rehearsal. If you have any older version, Macs Cue 2 is a free update. 'That show has more sound cues than any other they're doing this summer,' Tambasco says, 'because they are using digitally orchestrated music. QLab wasn't an option because the sound designer doesn't have a Mac, there wasn't any budget for Show Control, and he wanted to design something more complex than he would be able to play.
Support for lossless formats
You can directly convert one lossless format to another, without intermediate conversion. For example, you can turn FLAC to Apple Lossless supported by most Apple devices.
Automatic CUE splitting
The program locates .CUE files in the folder and suggests splitting the image to individual tracks if some are found.
Search for disk covers
If a file contains ID3 tags but lacks the cover art, the program tries to retrieve one using several Internet services.
iTunes support
Apple fans will admire the option to add converted files directly to iTunes multimedia library. You can also choose a specific playlist.
Retain folder structure
Command the program to keep the structure of your folders when running conversion. A must have option for those who store music in Artist/Album folders.

I have to say that this converter, is by far THEE best i have ever used. i had to use this in exchange for the built in iTunes converter because it would chop songs into 0:23 seconds after they were converted and that obviously wasn't the whole song. your converter has done its justice to the shitty apple conversion and hence, why i'm writing this review because it's so damn fast AND it also converts as many files as needed with no ads or requiring a license! it's truly and awesome freeware program!! :) Nic

Step 1: Load CUE associated audio files to CUE Splitter for Mac
Sound Cue For Mac
Click on 'Add files' button to browse and open your audio files (like MP3, APE, WAV, FLAC, etc). This Mac CUE Splitter does not require loading the CUE files to the program interface.
Step 2: Split CUE associated audio files

When your music files are added to the Mac CUE Splitter, use the mouse or press Command+A to select all the music files. Press Ctrl and click the mouse to open the context menu. Click 'Split by Chapter' in the context menu in the task list, the long and large music files will be automatically split to tracks.
Step 3: Set desired audio format for split CUE files on a Mac
Take split FLAC CUE to MP3 for example, Click on the 'Profile' Drop-down list and choose 'MP3 – MPEG Layer-3 Audio (*.mp3)' as the profile from 'Audio' category. Click 'Browse' to choose the folder where you want to put the converted files.
Click 'Settings' to open the 'Advanced Setting' window where you can change audio bitrate, audio channels and volumes.
